Services
Maundy Thursday
April 6 | 6:30PM
Join us for worship through singing, scripture, the Lord's Supper, and prayer. We will focus our time together around some of the events of Jesus's final time with his disciples. It was here in the upper room, at the last supper, where Jesus gave his disciples a "new commandment". And, it is from the events on this Thursday before Jesus's death on Good Friday that we get the word "maundy". It means "commandment" or "mandate". Before Jesus went to the cross, He clearly explained His desire for those first disciples and for all of us:
“I give you a new command: Love one another. Just as I have loved you, you are also to love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” - John 13:34-35 CSB
