Luke 8: 1-11
This passage explains the parable of the sower. Sowers do not limit themselves to certain soils; instead, they spread seeds everywhere, including rocks, thorns, or other soils thought to be less fertile. For, though uncommon, sometimes these seeds are able to flourish into something beautiful.
As Christians, we are expected to do the same. We should not be selective in whom we extend ourselves to, but rather aim to spread Christ’s message to as many people as possible. Technology lets us connect with a bigger audience than ever before.

The Connect & Care Ministry provides an opportunity for us to show God's love to members of our church family who can not be with us often or who are hurting or grieving.
In this joint effort of the MVBC Women's Ministry and the Office of Congregational Care, individuals and couples can volunteer to serve together to help us with this important outreach.
