PURPOSE
Mount Vernon Production exists to serve our church community through partnership with ministries locally and globally. . . to plan, prepare, operate, maintain, support, and integrate the technologies of audio, video, lighting and graphics that will support and enhance the mission of Mount Vernon Baptist Church locally and to the world.
Mount Vernon Production is a part of Mount Vernon's Worship Ministry, and is a community of individuals from diverse backgrounds and with wide ranges of experiences...some with a lot, some with next to none! Our hearts are to serve, support and encourage through technology. As a part of Mount Vernon Worship, we are committed to 2 Corinthians 4:5-6 which says:
For what we proclaim is not ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, with ourselves as your servants for Jesus' sake. For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

PRODUCTION TEAMS AT MOUNT VERNON
There are multiple opportunities for you to join us in ministering to our church family and community through the Mount Vernon Production Team! Our desire is to support the ministry and outreach of Mount Vernon through excellent audio, video/graphics and lighting.
Audio
Mount Vernon's Audio team provides support for weekend worship services, as well as for prayer gatherings, special events, and conferences hosted by our church.
FOH and live-stream audio (separate Allen & Heath SQ6 consoles) are critical production team roles needed each Sunday morning.
Our volunteer team serves on a rotating basis (scheduled via PlanningCenter) and learns to take next steps in their knowledge and experience with live and recorded audio. Training videos and coaching opportunities will be provided to help team members be their best!
In addition to weekend worship services and other events needing audio support in the Worship Center, our audio engineers support weekly worship team rehearsals.

Video / Graphics
Mount Vernon's Video and Graphics team provides support for weekend worship services, as well as for prayer gatherings, special events, and conferences hosted by our church. Worship song lyrics and videos are supported by ProPresenter. Sermons/messages are typically supported using Keynote.
Our volunteer video team serves on a rotating basis, learning to take next steps in their knowledge and experience with video and graphics used in the Worship Center and for live-streaming services to our YouTube Channel. Training videos and coaching opportunities will be provided to help team members be their best!
In addition to weekend worship services and other events needing video/graphics support in the Worship Center, our video/graphics team supports weekly worship team rehearsals.
There are opportunities to capture and edit video for use at Mount Vernon. Please let us know if you have experience in those areas.
